Designing a Performance Task for the Classroom

Session 4 is almost here! 


Come learn how to link the Common Core Math and Language Arts standards with instructional strategies by engaging in a hands-on look at lessons and performance-based assessments that focus on critical reasoning and real world applications. Participants will learn about the implications of performance-based assessments on classroom instruction and assessment. They will review sample performance tasks, develop a template to create similar assessments, and learn strategies for implementation. Participants will also demo Smarter Balanced Performance task samples that stimulate classroom dialogue and target lesson enhancement.
